GCSE RELIGIOUS STUDIES EDEXCEL / Specification B / Topic: Muslim Beliefs Lesson 5: Muslim Holy Books This lesson has been re-designed for Spring Term 2020. It is for 1 hour with my year 10s but can easily be adapted to a double lesson. I have based this lesson on the Edexcel endorsed textbook written by Waqar Ahmad Ahmedi. Students will not need this textbook to complete the lesson but I wanted to make you as the purchaser of this resource aware. Hello, I have created a Personal Learning Checklist using Edexcel Spec B Paper 1 Topic 3 Living the Christian Life. I have also created a double sided ‘Core Knowledge’ revision sheet detailing what our students need to learn for the exam. I have also created a worksheet for the students to fill in on the PPT. This is an introduction lesson designed for the new Edexcel RS spec - Philosophy Unit. As there is no textbook I have used whatever I could find from other texts to make it as comprehensive as possible. I aimed to cover 4 points (scholars, quotes) per element of the spec so my students had enough for the higher mark questions. I have put this document together which contains 1 side of Christianity quotes and the other side of Islamic quotes. There is also a Powerpoint that highlights the key quotes and where they fit in with the specification. I teach the Edexcel Spec B.
